Boarding
Briarwood Animal Hospital and Millcreek Animal Clinic offers a range of clean, and comfortable options for your pet. Standard kennels, suites, and kitty condos for our feline friends are also offered. Feline boarders are kept in a separate area, away from the barking of dogs that may cause them stress. All boarding areas are kept cool in the summer and cozy during the winter. Our veterinarians supervise our compassionate kennel crews while they constantly monitor boarders, and keep the entire facility immaculately clean.
For the safety of your pet and other animals boarding at Briarwood, all animals are recommended to be current on their vaccination schedule prior to their stay with us. Dogs are required to be up-to-date on rabies, bordetella (kennel cough), and distemper vaccinations. We also recommned adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and leptospirosis vaccinations. For cats, it is required that they be current on their FVRCP/FELV and rabies vaccinations. If your pet is due to be vaccinated, or if you are unsure of their current status, please contact our boarding facility four weeks prior to your pet’s planned stay to ensure they are properly vaccinated and protected.
If your furry family member has a special diet or requires medication, please bring it when you leave them with us and it will be properly administered. Also, feel free to bring along your pet’s favorite blanket or toy for them to feel right at home with us.
The next time you must leave town without your furry family member, let them board with us at Briarwood Animal Hospital or Millcreek Animal Clinic.
